Happy to share our new paper! We reanalysed published ancient dental calculus proteomes and identified dental enamel proteins, broadening the scope beyond diet and oral microbiome and highlighting the potential of reusing datasets to explore new hypotheses. www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...

We show that dental enamel proteins can be present in dental calculus, and sometimes you can re-analyse published data instead of conducting new destructive analyses - but please remember to publish a proper metadata file with your raw data 😊
