So... the coral healing touch news made me cry. Flat out, actually cry. Good news is so rare at that scale. Jeff Goldblum has been playing in my head since I read about it. I know it's pop-sci filtered currently, but it's still some hope I thought was hopeless.

Also the ‘appealing to humanity’ thing was employing the uncontroversial & mild mannered slogan ‘Black Lives Matter’. The response was a wave of global violence that directly led to the richest man in the world sentencing 750,000 Africans to death. USA shackling Haitians. Spiriting people away.
