a surprising number of people I don't know are very invested in whether or not I, personally, see a movie, and also in arguing with me about whether "spoilers" is a good or useful concept even though I was clear that I still try not to "spoil" things for people who care about that

I remember telling my MIGS surgeon before my excision lap that a diagnosis would be a relief Which is why when I woke up from surgery she was standing over me and saying, in a cheerful singsong voice, “Good morning! You have endometriosis!”
