A clear ending. Everything else can be forced through — time, discipline, motivation all bend if you know where you're going. But if you don't know what you're writing toward, every session is just more manuscript with no floor under it.

I guess it depends on which stage. Before it's finished I want more what's "wrong" so I can focus on fixing it with a bonus yay you enjoyed it. But once I'm done it flips because fixing a finish product is harder especially when it feels done in my head. Then I wanna hear the good stuff 😆
