Some take years depending on if I or my project needs to grow. When regularly creating, six to seven months was my longest, and fastest was two months. Every project has different life to it, so it varies considerably. But for now, jumping back in to meet my fastest is my goal to re-enter my craft.

this! i made a very rambling disorganized outline and I knew I needed to figure out the order of things, so I wrote a synopsis (main plotlines only). now in doing so, I've realized my Book 1 is fine but Book 2 needs work 😅

Interesting question. I never thought about writing dark or lightened up, but more based on emotions and mood swings. So a dark phase is followed by an brighter one by nature and not because I thought I wrote to many dark thoughts. How you do?

I can usually juggle 2 to 3 projects, and since 2 of them are edits and rewrites right now it isn't too bad.
