Wow such important work. This is incredible. I recall feeling briefly euphoric then a bad headache and terrible constipation (sorry). Just overall not pleasant.

We compared preoperative opioid effects (RCT, N=199, little pain) & found: 🟥 LARGE effects on drug high/sedation/dizziness 🔸SMALL effects on well-being www.cell.com/cell-reports...
