Boekentip! Dochter van de grote winter gaat Arnarulunguaq. In 1921 sluit ze zich aan bij ontdekkingsreiziger Knud Rasmussen voor een gevaarlijke Arctische reis per hondenlee, die uiteindelijk drie jaar duurt. Ze kookt rn gidst, maar ontpopt zich ook als een volwaardig wetenschapper/antropoloog.

The procedural lakes are really taking shape now! No more trees or grass under the water! (Still some towers and paths though; one thing at a time...) I only used existing splat-maps and textures here (grass, cliff, forest, gravel) but it's fairly serviceable. #ProcGen #GameDev #IndieDev

school mathematics should introduce the multiple notions of normal form so that one doesn't ever see something like "simplify this expression" on its own. Instead: "write (x − 1)(x + 2)(x − 3) in ANF" [additive normal form] "write x³ − 2x² − 5x + 6 in MNF" [multiplicative normal form]
