The thing is, they don't think any of those people deserve those jobs, nor deserve them at a good wage. They think the jobs have been stolen from white people and/or that those jobs are beneath them. Meanwhile, even if it was just janitorial work, somebody still has to do that too.

Well, there is a substantial amount of rural Alberta that runs on immigrants labour, like the agricultural sector, service jobs and logistics. But the folks who are mad don’t want those jobs. They want six figures to copulate the canine in the patch.

Very funny that you included a chart that clearly puts Trudeau's election in the wrong place. Zoom in on that chart and put his election in late 2015. Most of the decline happened under Harper/because of the oil price crash that started in 2014.
