Got my first volunteer request for my first run director stint on Sunday. Made me happy. Off to Ben's Yard parkrun Saturday to try our the new surface. Potentially one for an icy day.
Show PostFirst time parkrun run director this Sunday and I think the majority of roles are covered already with a few emails to come. Won't lie, got a bit of nervous energy but I do remember when I ran entertainments, that was when I was my best.

Catford #parkrun 371 saw 285 runners and walkers finish in glorious autumnal conditions. There were 56 1st timers, with 5 doing their very 1st parkrun. There were 38 PBs. As always, a massive thank you to the 29 volunteers who made it all happen! www.parkrun.org.uk/catford/resu...
