Happy birthday to Agatha Christie who wrote some of my favourite books ever that I pretty much absorbed into my brain in one go when I was little. Motivated me to become an international woman of mystery and master criminal, I mean crime fighter.

Today would’ve been my father’s 95th birthday. In search of a better life, he came to America with only $2.43 and a Korean-English dictionary. He had no friends or family here. Like many immigrants, he dreamt of the promise of what this country could offer. Each day I work to honor his memory.
