And we already see this in common parlance: "it want you to enter your account number", "I tried to print the document but the printer didn't want to cooperate", etc. Language is flexible and I don't think it's inappropriate to have usages like these.

If you're comparing AI to dogs, then it clearly isn't "anthropomorphization". I think it's quite reasonable to view a sufficiently complicated system as an agent whose goals and behavior you don't have a complete understanding of.
