Show PostI'm guessing an unexpected downside of the motor voter law. Confusion or inattention at the DMV is not unheared of. For a slightly different example, when I moved to Massachusetts and got my license, a guy with the same name and DOB got unregistered.
Show PostThe Trump regime is arresting green card holders who have no recollection of registering to vote and accusing them of fraudulently registering to vote to create the illusion of non-citizens voting being a real problem. www.latimes.com/california/s...
Show PostHere’s a perfect example of why “voter mistake” is often more accurate than “voter fraud.” The man interviewed here seems to have genuinely believed he could vote, and the government officials who should have stopped him failed to do so. There’s no fraudulent intent. www.kcra.com/article/cali...
Show PostYep. Noncitizen voting is extremely rare AND there’s no real pattern in who does it; it can be people of any political viewpoint. That’s because it’s not some grand “voter fraud” conspiracy, it’s almost always what law professor Benjamin Plener Cover calls “voter mistake.”
