This is a true thing I do. In my head, to amuse myself when I am bored, I write a version of Lord of the Rings where Gandalf sends Red Sonja to watch over Frodo instead of Strider. Not kidding, I have been writing this in my head for over a decade. She also falls hard for Arwen.
