The fact of the matter is, sending troops onto American streets puts all our basic rights at risk. Last week's victory is a reminder that we’re still a democracy, not an Empire. Our constitutional rights are stronger when we defend them.

Threats like this are meant to get people to obey in advance and give up in advance so the regime's work of oppression and control is as easy as possible. DC, we are so much stronger than this historically unpopular, incompetent fraud. He is weaker than he wants any of us to realize.

Today’s Oversight markup will be the 5th time this Congress that Rs have wasted our time on anti-home rule bills designed to interfere with DC traffic policies, a petty fixation Rep. Perry spends much of his time on — to the detriment of his constituents in PA.
