The Birds of Budle Bay review This book is testament to a lifetime of patch-watching, as well as the sheer scale and variety of birdlife that comes and goes with the changing seasons, says Alan Tilmouth: https://f.mtr.cool/fq54b19lwf
Show PostExciting times at Clifford hill GP when I discovered the first American passerine for Northants, American Buff-bellied Pipit, as something about this pipit looked strange. Probably my best bird find ever. Many happy birders today. Jack snipe was in the same area. #northantsbirds #ukbirding #PWC2026

Show PostPrivileged to be birding @spurnbirdobs.bsky.social last 2 days, crazy rarities everywhere, Hume’s Warbler a sweetener at the very end, added calls recorded on top of video here for ease 😜
Show PostI don't recall an arrival of RWFG and Tundra Beans in recent (or not so recent) Octobers ~ perhaps unprecedented. I'm pretty sure that the Tundras are the first Beans I've ever seen at Cley in October. Need to check that but I'm pretty sure that's the case - exciting! #cleybirds #norfolkbirding 2/2
