And there is no reservation system where you get to take a game and say, "nobody else can do it." The rights holder owns the game. Nobody else. So this concept that only certain people are "allowed" to make them doesn't work.
Show PostI am not taking anyone's rights away to make their own Recomps coded 100% by a human, and you're still free to ignore it. Absolutely no one is getting hurt, no one is losing their jobs, no one is losing money, and no one is being blocked from doing something better. Get over it.
Show PostRecomps are non-profit things made by people in their spare time and existing in an already grey area of legality. So, who cares? If I decide to make a Recomp of a given game 100% vibe-coded, that's my problem. If I decide to share it with the world that's still my problem.
