I keep wondering what leads ppl to hold this kind of selfish double standard, because I've been seeing it a lot. And it just makes me wonder WHY? You fear for your own expertise being devalued and deemed replacable, but you're ok with actively devaluing & replacing other ppl's? It makes no sense!!!

It's so jarring and disappointing to see people, whom you thought of being reasonable, excusing any genAI use. "Of course genAI art is bad, but it's fine for coding and research!" Full on STOP. All you're doing is exposing how you inherently look down on fields of expertise that aren't your own 💀
