Legit one of the best moments in Fellowship. That entire fight's excellent—constantly changing gears. Then, complementing the pure realism of Viggo's deflection swing, they add a perfect foley effect—a 'spiral-y' metallic zing that sounds fantastically kinetic and takes it to the next level.

Another LOTR one: Aragorn's knife deflection from Lurtz was real. The actor playing him was nearsighted and just threw the knife vaguely in the direction of a blurry shape with the intent of missing, and it went straight at him. But Viggo's such a badass that he legit deflected it with his sword.
