I totally disagree. It's a different style but I think it's stellar. I especially appreciate how the tracks add and remove portions of their instrumentation as you go through an area.

To me the soundtrack sounds closer to a 40k game than a traditional Castlevania game, but i love it.

Show PostYeah there's some obvious adoration towards the DS family of Castlevania games. I was very surprised to see a very significant amount of Portrait of Ruin show up as soon as I got to the Castle.
