For every person who regrets Brexit enough to switch to Indy there will be another who sees the trauma of Brexit and doesn’t want to go through the same thing again, but between England and Scotland rather than the UK and EU. You have never acknowledged that cohort of people.

And yet the polls are stubbornly on the wrong side of the line. You can say “ahh but that ignores the possibility of rejoining the EU” but it doesn’t. Anyone remotely interested in politics will understand that and poll accordingly. Remain/brexit isn’t synonymous with Indy/union.

There is no ability for Scotland to join the EU quickly, let alone very quickly. That is just wishful thinking and your other point is hypothetical to the nth degree.
