I'm currently tuned into the Seattle Landmarks Board for a briefing on potential changes to the Doyle Building that would allow this 18 story mass-timber addition. A ton of people are signed up to comment on the proposal.
Show PostLora-Ellen McKinney asks a similar question about why they settled on the number of units. Clark says if they could they would do 200 units (it has 185), which prompts her to ask "why?" These exchanges say a lot more about the landmarks board than this project specifically tbh.
