Esme is home. She had an uneventful time except when we stopped to pick up my prescription at the drive-thru and she was offered a milkbone and I had to turn it down. Also I saw the future of her dentition and it is looking like we're going to get to "sticky-out tongue" eventually.

They got done scaling Esme's teeth and also she has at least one molar and possibly a pre-molar that need to come out. So it's a good job I did schedule this periodontal for her. Especially since we've already met her pet insurance deductible for the year.

It's nice to have the dog the whole clinic looks forward to seeing, though. It's better than having the dog the whole clinic dreads seeing.

Got a call with an update on Esme for her periodontal. Everything is going good so far. It sounds like she's been entertaining everyone at the vet, too. Unprompted comment about how does she fit so much personality into such a tiny body.

Shooting at a car to stop a shoplifter is not justified. Even if no one was harmed, let alone shooting to death a 1 year-old baby.
