I'm glad that the kids at family parties tend to drag me out of adult conversations to play with them. It reduces my amount of "no, we don't say that here" replies to the racist and queerphobic comments of other family members drastically. I'd rather play hide and seek in the rain.

Despite my #ReverseCasualFriday posts I rarely feel pretty in outfits and even more rarely feel the desire to take pictures of myself and share them. Yesterday was an exception. I dressed up, felt like myself and as I came across a nice photo location I had the strong desire to take pictures.
