zeurel is a goddamned hero for just putting the full-ass budget for monkey wrench at the end of every episode, but i don't know that there's been enough acknowledgement of the fact that the only reason that show looks so good is because he does a little over half the labor for free

we're finally seeing the tip of the spear for "these shows shouldn't be selling merch to make their series" but i can't stress enough that no one has shown a single sign of being willing to pay for episodes of a series, ESPECIALLY in advance, so i don't know how the fuck this is supposed to work
