A morsel of personal news. I joined the UCL genetics dept as a 1st year undergraduate in 1994, then the Galton Laboratory. Today I became a Professor of Genetics in the same dept, thus proving that if you hang around long enough they eventually concede.

Huge news! Our research is out in Nature✨ www.nature.com/articles/s41... We’ve uncovered that oncofetal plasticity in colorectal cancer arises far earlier than anyone expected. Providing a new lens on how cancers transition to metastatic disease. Big thanks to my team and collaborators!
