But, there's an easy lesson there: Aggressively strip content from your demo build. And I'm absolutely not blaming the dev for not doing that in advance (my demo configuration for Bad North works the same way), but it's something we should all be thinking of moving forward

The decompilation stuff of late might put a wrinkle into that. There's the story of the dev having their demo cracked when the whole game content was in there. So someone now is selling their full game in China. And yes, that is a semi-new threat that we need to deal with
