Work on the nave of York Minster had begun before 1291 but it was not completed until the 1350s. The lower parts of the towers were left incomplete when work was started on the new choir and lady chapel in 1361, the SW tower being finished first in 1445. The NW tower finished in the 1470s. #ArtShare
