I scream a little bit every time I see or hear someone use "disinterested" when they mean "uninterested". They're not synonyms and the difference in meaning is important. If someone pays you to write for a living, you have no excuse not to know the difference.

When I worked as a special ed para in an elementary school for $13/hr, we were not allowed to have our phones out unless it was an emergency. Cops shouldn't be getting paid to scroll Twitter & Truth Social.

So, here’s the Advent Calendar that I went with. There are probably ones out there that I would actually enjoy more, but I haven’t had any of these little liqueur filled chocolates for close to 40 years, so this was sort of a nostalgia choice.
