a bit tangential, but this same thing happened to my roommate? he has me/cfs (surprisingly not due to covid) and at some point in the last 6 years developed asthma they didn't know was asthma until much later since it took a while for them to even clock what was wrong to further investigate

As an ME sufferer, you have my sympathies. They just throw stuff at you and if it doesn't work you get the blame. Recently covid shots here went from free to $165 AUD which is nuts, because that is going to mean a lot more people with LC which will cost the government more over the long term
