If you want to convince people who are being harmed by the political system & even a significant minority of people within your own favourite political party that they really need to show up to vote and risk going to jail for having the wrong gender marker on an ID, maybe you should earn that trust?

And yet... Even though "enjoy the camps" posts have declined a bit over the last month, they're still around. It feels like it should be obvious that yelling at the people targeted by republican legislation and violence is not helping convince us that giving your fave party power is a good idea.

I also did harsher versions, using a rhetorical slap up front to get the attention of a certain subset of people that I thought both needed & deserved it. That said, the content within the thread was useful, I hope, particularly for ppl like Barry's "stupid cis fuck" character. (my words, ofc.)
