I also read somewhere that Demme dug into how concert films were made and concluded that the way to make a film that felt as dynamic as being in a concert audience was, paradoxically, NOT to try to capture a live show with an audience. ‘Stop Making Sense’ was shot on a studio soundstage.

A really uncomfortably topic professionally is that we are on the other side of a design bubble. Design Thinking didn't do the thing. A tremendous amount of dogmatic, uncritical thinking was happening, convincing workers that "design" was critical to "business success" without defining those terms.
