They closed another polling place next to another HBCU, Fayetteville State, a few years ago. I helped organize a Souls to the Polls event when I was on faculty there. Good for the students, but it obviously shouldn’t be this difficult.

The state of American healthcare: currently you cannot get an appt w/ a pediatric opthalmologist in the medical system our pediatrician is in with less than an 18mo wait. You genuinely cannot even schedule it. If your kiddo fails their 1yr eye screen, that's the critical period for intervention.
