Show PostLast time I saw a Tommy defeated that hard was in Goodfellas.
Show PostIt wasn't just Tommy he was talking to, it was the person in the crowd who came in and thought "is Tommy right?" and left thinking "I think Tommy's wrong."
Show PostEvery single protest is at police discretion. The risk I’m talking about exists for all of them. The only way to avoid is to attempt to follow any order given by police, if they don’t give contradicting orders. Protesters never “clash” with police. They are attacked for failure to disperse.
Show PostIt is the most “Tell me you never organized a direct action in a US city without telling me you never organized a direct action in a IS city.” I might not get it if I hadn’t been involved in organizing and activism, but I was, so I recognize it for what it is.
