It's an understandable impulse. I want SO BADLY to correct the many, MANY misdeeds of our current government/the world, but I CAN shout at this person and vent all my frustrations! And that does feel relieving, for a while. Though the sick, hollow feeling afterward isn't really an improvement.

In conclusion, Sue Donym is a land of contrasts.

it's weird to see people, especially anticarceral leftists, suggest that someone who does a bad thing should atone themselves of it by permanently removing themselves from public life, and that the public should shun them forever.
