The best way to protect your privacy is by social engineering skills. Not with tech. Encryption apps are not safe unless boxed into heavy security measures both on device and infra. Having that already makes you suspect as well. Behaviour is always the way to go, layered.

Regular people in uprisings all over the world almost all got caught because of tech. Change your face regularly. Facial recognition doesn't understand even the smallest changes. Eyecolour, chin thickening, eye form (yes Sperti can be used :-)), frequenting different people, obscuring rounds etc etc
