Many such cases. I got suckered into buying a “Tensor” lamp remembering the excellent 1960s model my dad used as a drafting lamp, and part of my heart died when I used it and found that it was a zombie company

Due to option buying, I am just at break even. Man, I feel so frustrated. Whatever gain I made in option selling, it is just used to offset the loss that I am making in buying.

I should be used to getting emails about buying a thing I just bought, but getting emails like “We see you bought a Kia this year. Perhaps you would like another Kia?” is a new one

Commercials: Manly men using their manly voices to proclaim the promise of all the manly tasks you men can accomplish if you buy a giant manly pickup truck. Reality: mostly men suckered into buying something that never leaves pavement and is used to haul kids and groceries; an oversized wagon.
