For real? I don't normally see 'despurrate' posts here so this is almost a breath of fresh air, not to trivialize your despair! Maybe just turn off the TV & spend some time here with me, at least spiritually. There are good people in this world but they are often the hardest to find.

It was made entirely from scratch. About 35 vanilla wafers, 4 bananas, 6 egg yolks in the pudding with a can of evaporated milk and some half & half. A few tablespoons of butter and vanilla extract mixed in. Of course, there’s sugar and a little flour mixed in. 6 egg whites for the meringue.
Show PostNo, I’ve not seen a blend of natural vanilla and vanillin before. Vanillin is one of the “artificial flavors” I don’t actually have a problem with. It’s the same phenolic aldehyde that gives vanilla beans their flavor and scent, it’s just synthetically produced. (1 of 2)
