Gorgeous. Jurassic ichthyosaur skulls hold a record too: Temnodontosaurus from these same Lower Lias beds had eyes up to about 26 cm across, the largest of any vertebrate known, living or extinct. The bony sclerotic ring around the orbit is what lets us measure them so precisely.
