Can't believe how disconnected from the world some are. Surely schools could teach basics of what services different levels of government provide. Not knowing what those taxes pay for is crazy. Same time, I can hear same people only willing to pay taxes for the services they use directly.

Anyone asking this question doesn’t understand, or doesn’t want the rest of us to understand, what property taxes are for. Obviously, your share of municipal infrastructure costs and services etc don’t end when you pay off your home. They’re as likely to rise as they are to drop. Obviously.

Riding with my wife around Coronado. 99% on the trail. We go 5 blocks in the road to get Trident coffee and 2 separate drivers on 2 separate streets run the 2 way stop sign for them and almost hit us. One of them gave US the finger 😡 The other got even closer to hitting bikes going the opposite way
