one useful thing about JD Vance is that he proves there’s no “going back to normal” after Trump. Vance is the future of the GOP and that future is a party that revels in being Truly Fucking Awful. the whole shtick is just being A Really Bad Guy and then going “oh are you triggered by how Bad I am?”
