I had an 8” round cake with cute topper and multiple grocery store sheet cakes at my wedding. Worked great, having multiple flavors of cake was definitely popular. (1)

When I worked in a grocery store bakery later, the store had a no-wedding policy because of, well, Bridezillas. Most stores just add a wedding ‘premium’ to the price. Call them anniversary cakes and put the topper on yourself - it’ll save you a good bit.
