this feels like an odd reading to me. there were practical exploits available to nobodies like me before OpenAI said anything. OpenAI is not adding anything that was not already out there, they're describing how they did it. the defender's-window marketing is cringe, but I don't see the problem?

I am going to push back because for whatever faults it has, many US public agencies default to the public having a right to know. This brand of stonewalling is uniquely and decidedly Canadian and any working journalist in this country will tell you so

This is a publicly funded government agency refusing to share weather warnings and their own public warnings with a journalist at Global News, one of the larger mainstream news outlets in Canada. I really want you to sit with the bare facts of that.
