We had a great presentation at our lab meeting this week about a coding error that cost a trainee a good bit of time. It was a post-mortem with lots of useful lessons learned, particularly about how reliance on AI agents can sometimes make it harder to find errors. Highly recommended activity!

Do you work with production data? We have some updates for you. My students and I developed a tool that was accepted for publication in Behavior Research Methods. The tool is called: TAPA (Toolkit for Acoustic-Phonetic Analysis). Yes, the name is influenced by the tapas tradition. #speechscience

One thing I'm trying to get better at is being faster at saying 'no' to invitations (when I can't do the thing) because I know how much a fast 'no' helps me when I am the one inviting people
