夏が旬の季節の果実といえば、スイカ、メロン、ぶどう、マンゴーと～「桃」🍃 甘い香りが強くなったら食べ頃の目安で、食べる1〜2時間前に冷蔵庫の野菜室で冷やすか、氷水に15分ほど漬けると、甘みや香りを損ない難く、瑞々しさも楽しめるとされています。 ＜桃のあれこれ＞ ① 桃は桜や梅、アーモンドと同じバラ科 ② 表面の産毛は果実を守る天然のバリア ③ 古事記・日本書紀では邪気を払う縁起の良い果実として登場 ④ 中国では古くから長寿の象徴 ⑤ 品種は300種以上といわれ、果肉の硬さや甘み、香りもさまざま 頂いた桃のお裾分け先を考えながら、冷やし中の桃の丸ごとかぶりつきを楽しみにただ今待機中です😸
