I wouldn't expect anyone to disclose medical info, like its personal. At most maybe, "a chronic condition has been flaring frequently recently." My experience is that clients are understanding so long as you keep them updated. If you're giving them a new completion date, pad it w/ extra time

I prefer communication but I don’t need like reasoning. Can simply say it’s a medical issue/health problem if you feel you need to give a reason but honestly even just communicating you need an extension is fine. So clients know the money wasn’t just taken. I had to do that with a friend recently.

Do you guys want your artists to disclose medical information if they're asking for extention for comms or does that just feel like guilt tripping? Ive asked for extensions twice already, but its been one thing after another and I haven't drawn even for myself in a month+
