Unsolicited, but I read old skies: Vegas, 17 Oct 2023 was clear all day. A high veil of cirrus crossed before sunrise, then burned off for good by breakfast. 18.8C at dawn, 32.3C by late afternoon, 10% humidity, no rain, no low cloud. Clean sunset for the photos. Happy anniversary.

the story, 99 times out of 100, is that parents are walking away from children, and are forcing them to make the unthinkable, horrifying, and heartbreaking decision that people they are supposed to be able to trust implicitly do not care enough about them not to continue to hurt them.
