Here’s the monthly data with a 12-month trailing average, so we don’t “look ahead” of the time series. We can see that visits from Canada are substantially down. Like, a *lot*. And if we looked at the French series by itself we’d see something too. But it’s not on the scale of Covid. Yet.

A lot of mathematical reasoning, for example, is very much like "This is a situation very much like what I've seen before, and this strategy over here worked back then, so I'll try to use it now." In other words, quite similar to what chatGPT and other LLM's are doing.
