The Trump admin is arguing that the tree-cutting had nothing to do with Trump’s redevelopment plans, but we now have evidence that Interior’s dep chief of staff — who called the Oct 5 that led to the Oct 10 tree-cutting — is also having off-gov’t phone communications about redevelopment plans.
