Interesting to hear. So many journals are going down. I am (should resign as you did) editor with PLOS and MDPI. PLOS lost all my respect with that paper with a river as first author (doi.org/10.1371/jour...). MDPI exploded their special issues and lowered the quality. But none as bad as Frontiers.
