Officially have my first basic enemy, a snake that is only just visible behind the grass layer and jumps when you try to jump over it. Think it's time to try and add push-back on injury

Ground work for automatic camera rotation, no right thumbstick required! For now its influence is far less while airborne but it'll be most useful during complicated movement stuff where you're using your thumb for those other actions. #GameDev #IndieDev #3DPlatformer
